ABHISHEK BACHCHAN

Abhishek Bachchan is an Indian actor, who is the son of Bollywood star couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. The actor made his debut opposite Kareena Kapoor in JP Dutta's Refugee (2000). Even though the film did not set cash registers ringing at the box office, Abhishek's performance was appreciated. He later went on to play diverse characters in films such as Yuva (2004), Dhoom (2004), Bunty Aur Babli (2005), Bluffmaster! (2005), Guru (2007), Dostana (2008), Paa (2009) and more.

Besides films, Abhishek also has a keen interest in sports. He bought the Pro Kabaddi League franchise team Jaipur Pink Panthers and is also the co-owner of Indian Super League football team Chennaiyin FC.

On the personal front, Abhishek tied the knot with Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai on April 20, 2007, at the Bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu. The couple has a daughter Aaradhya, who was born on November 16, 2011.
