For people who are stuck due to airport shutdown across India, there is some respite for them as Indian Railways has announced three special trains from Jammu and Kashmir. These special trains will be running from Jammu and Udhampur to Delhi.
The main aim is to assist stranded passengers and manage increased travel demand in the region. With public transportation affected due to the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, many travellers are stuck and finding it difficult to exit the region. Below mentioned are the details:

Jammu-Udhampur Train To Delhi

  • Train 04612 is planned to depart from Jammu at 10:45am. It has 12 unreserved and 12 reserved coaches.
  • Another 20 coach Vande Bharat is also being planned. It will depart at 12/45pm from Udhampur. It will pass through Jammu and Pathankot.
  • There is also a fully reserved special train which will depart from Jammu at 7pm.
While speaking to ANI, the Railways said, "In view of the current situation, Indian Railways has decided to run three special trains from Jammu and Udhampur to Delhi."
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that a special train will be arranged from Una to transport all players from Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings. This came in after the match was suspended.
These special trains are being announced following the closure of multiple airports in India. The decision was made after India struck 9 terror camps in Pakistan. Here is a list of all the closed airports:

  27. Chandigarh
Also, many domestic airlines cancelled flights from Leh to Bhuj - due to its close proximity to Pakistan border. Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Akasa Air, and Air India Express have issued advisories and cancelled flights.
