Operation Sindoor 2.0: Indian Armed Forces Neutralise Air Defence System At Pakistan's Lahore

The Indian armed forces retaliated against Pakistan's aggression by targeting several air defence radars and systems on Thursday morning under Operation Sindoor 2.0. This response followed Pakistan's attempts to strike multiple military locations in Northern and Western India using drones and missiles.

The Indian armed forces gave Pakistan's aggression a fitting response on Thursday morning by targeting Air Defence Radars and systems at several locations. Pakistan attempted to strike multiple military targets across Northern and Western India, spanning locations such as Awantipora, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj — using drones and missiles late on Wednesday. The escalation from Pakistan came after India's Operation Sindoor that targeted terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in the early hours of Wednesday. This uncalled-for provocation by the neighbouring nation comes even as India has maintained that the strikes by Indian forces were targetted at terrorists and terror camps and that no military facility or civilians were targetted during Operation Sindoor.
"Today morning Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan. Indian response has been in the same domain with same intensity as Pakistan. It has been reliably learnt that an Air Defence system at Lahore has been neutralised," the Government of India said in a statement.
