An industry source revealed that YRF has decided to call it off, considering the current tense situation between India and Pakistan at the borders.

An evergreen film that redefined Bollywood romance, the director-producer set the platform to launch a statue in London. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s iconic pose was set to be immortalised in the form of a bronze statue at Leicester Square sometime this week.

DDLJ statue inaugural event postponed

Zoom has learnt that the statue's inaugural event has been postponed after India launched Operation Sindoor in response to the neighbouring country’s terrorist attack on Pahalgam in April that took the lives of 26 civilians.
An industry source revealed, “In keeping with the current situation and to express solidarity with the nation and its brave army, the DDLJ statue launch has been postponed to a later time and date.”
