Call it royalcore, call it nostalgia — Kate’s look has us spiralling back to Diana in the best way.

The polka dot print is classic and yet it's filled with this unsaid effervescence. It's also the trendiest print of 2025. Kate Middleton's appearance in a white dress with black polka dots just reaffirmed this. Her outfit felt like a living moodboard—everything happy, carefree, and unbothered distilled into one look.
The Princess of Wales attended the Thanksgiving Service commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day in London, held at the iconic Westminster Abbey.
The midi dress, designed by Alessandra Rich, featured a slouchy high neckline, long sleeves cinched at the wrist, and a gently gathered waist. A subtle fabric ruching at the waist for style added texture without disrupting the print’s rhythm. According to reports, Middleton had previously worn the same dress at the Garter Day Service in June 2023, although styled quite differently then.
