A cornered Pakistan has resorted to unprovoked aggressions across the border, in response to India's counter-terror Operation Sindoor - targeting key military and civilian infrastructure in Jammu.
Ever since India's Operation Sindoor to dismantle Pakistan's terror infrastructure, the rattled nation has resorted to cowardly and unprovoked aggressions against India's border states. It has specifically targeted Jammu thrice in a span of 24 hours, with civilian and military assets in the northern Indian state on its radar. Indian security forces successfully thwarted the dastardly attempts to target strategic locations, including an air base, an army installation, the Jammu University, and other critical civilian infrastructure.
The Border Security Force (BSF) also foiled a major infiltration attempt in the Samba sector, apart from a ceasefire violation in the same area. In response, Jammu and Kashmir has shut all schools, colleges and universities for two days - May 9 and 10 - as a precautionary measure.
India's anti-drone defence system Sudarshan Chakra downed 57 Pakistani drones overnight. These drones, many reportedly armed, were neutralised across multiple locations in Jammu, as well as other border states - Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
