ANUPAM KHER

Anupam Kher is a veteran Indian actor, who has worked in more than 500 films. The Bollywood actor is known for his versatility and his knack for making every character his own, then whether it was Karma's Dr Dang or Khosla Ka Ghosla's Kamal Kishore Khosla. Anupam started his acting career with Mahesh Bhatt's Saaransh (1984), in which, at the age of 27, he played the role of a 65-year-old man. The film got Anupam critical acclaim and helped him establish himself as a name to reckon with in the Hindi film industry. What followed were more brilliant performances in films like Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1989), Daddy (1989), Chaalbaaz (1989), Dil (1990), Lamhe (1991), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), A Wednesday! (2008), Special 26 (1013), and The Kashmir Files (2022), among others.

Anupam has also done some notable work in the West. He worked in films like Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Bride & Prejudice (2004), Silver Linings Playbook (2012), The Big Sick (2017), and more, and was also part of an American series New Amsterdam for three years (2018-2021).

On the personal front, Anupam is married to actress-turned-politician Kirron Kher and they have son, Sikandar.
