Career
She made her Bollywood debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. In her first film itself, she got the opportunity to play the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The movie did exceedingly well at the box office and earned positive reviews for Anushka's performance. However, it was with 2010's Band Baaja Baarat that Anushka came into her own and proved her acting prowess. She later went on to do impressive roles in films such as Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), PK (2014), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Sultan (2016), Sui Dhaaga (2018), and more.

In 2015, Anushka also turned producer and launched a production house Clean Slate Filmz. The first film under the company was Navdeep Singh's thriller NH10. She also produced Phillauri (2017), Pari (2018) Paatal Lok (2020) and Bulbbul (2020).

Personal Life
On the personal front, Anushka married cricketer Virat Kohli on December 11, 2017 and on January 11, 2021, she gave birth to their first baby Vamika. The couple welcomed their second child, Akaay, on February 15, 2024.
