Avni's journey at Times Now began in August 2023 after successfully completing a one-month internship. As a valued member of the City desk, she delves into diverse topics such as weather, infrastructure, crime, traffic, and aviation. A graduate of Bennett University, Avni possesses a profound interest in mythology, literature, films, and journalism. Her journey of writing began with poetry and scriptwriting, which she hopes to pursue one day. Avni also co-authored an award-winning book on mental health named ‘Unwind’. When she is not in the office, she is either nose-deep in a book, watching some art film, or playing with her dog. She believes news should be delivered to the readers not just with facts, but with how the facts will affect or benefit them. A quote she goes by is, “Even if you are not ready for the day, it cannot always be night.”
