HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 8: Nani, Srinidhi Shetty Film Sees Drop On First Thursday, Crawls Towards Rs 65 Crore

Among the films that hit theatres on 1st May, Nani’s HIT 3 stood out with a solid run at the box office. The crime thriller opened to an impressive Rs 21.5 crore on its first day (May 1), kicking off with strong momentum. Despite a slightly mixed buzz initially, positive word-of-mouth helped the film stay steady in the next few days, however, the movie seems to have lost momentum now.

Nani and Srinidhi Shetty starrer raked in Rs 12 crore on Day 2 and on Day 3 it pulled in another Rs 11.5 crore. As expected, weekday earnings saw a dip. Monday brought in Rs 3.65 crore, Tuesday followed with Rs 3.25 crore, and on Wednesday (Day 7), the film collected an additional Rs 2.35 crore. According to early box office estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, for Thursday (Day 8, May 8), the movie collected another Rs 2 crore, bringing the total to approximately Rs 63.40 crore in India.

The movie needs to gain momentum to earn to end its box office run in the domestic circuit on an impressive note.
