Young Pacifist Shames Reporter With Stunning Anti-War Clarity
When asked if he supported Pakistan, Kaif gave a surprisingly simple, yet profound, answer.

Geopolitical tensions are running high after India carried out Operation Sindoor, a series of retaliatory aerial strikes on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, overnight on May 7 to militarily avenge the Pahalgam massacre.
Social media has since been a battleground for reactionary warmongering and progressive virtue-signalling on either side of the border.
Breaking through the clamour is an unlikely voice of reason: a young Bihari boy seemingly no older than mid-teens, but wise far beyond his years.
The pacifist, who said his name was Muhammad Kaif during a news interview, stunned a journalist with his unflinching anti-war stance and a profound message for peace.
When asked if he thought Pakistan should be “destroyed”, the boy unambiguously said no, and for good reason.
“There are people there [in Pakistan], and so too here. There are Muslims and there are Hindus, same as here. Everyone is human. Then why kill everyone?” Kaif asked.
He added, “Everyone has a right to live. Then why destroy [the country]?”
The reporter accused Kaif of supporting Pakistan and asked if he felt ashamed for doing so, only for the defiant kid to question him back over allegedly-divisive “Hindu-Muslim news”.
When asked who taught him to be rational, the boy delivered the parting shot: “Taught? I have a brain.”
“This is the kind of clarity scholars struggle for years to find and fail at,” said an observer on X. “Imagine the courage it takes for a young Muslim kid to stand up to the bully reporter who questions even his basic right to live here, without giving in to the pressure to say something jingoistic.”
Another wrote: “He's [the journalist] doing everything to identify this little boy, asking nonsense questions and saying, ‘Who taught you this?’ as if someone has to be taught how to be human and show humanity. May God protect this child.”
The video has been viewed over four million times.
