The "King" of the cricketing world, Virat Kohli, also lives life king-size, and this reflects in his holiday home— a Rs 32 crore mansion in Alibaug. Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma bought this luxury property as their holiday home to get out of Mumbai's hustle and enjoy some privacy amid greenery and peace.

Back in 2022, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma acquired an 8-acre plot in Alibaug for approximately Rs 19 crore, paying an additional Rs 36 lakh in stamp duty. The couple went on to build a stunning 10,000 sq. ft. holiday villa on the property, designed by the globally renowned Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), led by Phillippe Fouche.

In a video tour, Kohli revealed that the villa’s sense of privacy and its lush, sunlit surroundings instantly drew him in. The home is seamlessly connected to the outdoors and even features a spa nearby, perfect for unwinding.

The villa is a blend of modern luxury and natural elegance, boasting a temperature-controlled pool, a custom-designed kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a sprawling garden, covered parking, and dedicated staff quarters. Inside, high-end finishes like Italian marble, pristine stones, and Turkish limestone elevate the overall aesthetic.

Reports suggest Kohli invested an additional Rs 10.5 crore to Rs 13 crore in the construction, making this retreat a true embodiment of comfort, style, and exclusivity.
