KAPIL SHARMA

Kapil Sharma has established himself as a name to reckon with in India's comedy circuit. He first found prominence in 2007 when he won the comedy reality television show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Post that, there was no looking back for Kapil, as he went on to become a part of several big projects. In 2013, Kapil started his own show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, which was on air for three years. Post that he started a new show titled The Kapil Sharma Show in April, 2016. The show is very popular and has celebrity guests every week. In between, Kapil also played the lead in a film, Firangi, which failed to set cash registers ringing at the box office.

The actor-comedian, who is from Amritsar, Punjab, tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Ginni Chatrath on December 12, 2018. He now has two children - a daughter named Anayra, who was born December 10, 2019, and a son named Trishaan, who was born on February 1, 2021.
