They have been an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992. They were a part of the 2003 Cricket World Cup held in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya but lost all 6 matches they played in the tournament and were knocked out in the group stage. The Namibians have been a part of every single edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup.
