Naga Chaitanya has begun shooting for his upcoming film, tentatively titled NC 24. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film's first look poster has been unveiled.. According to a media report, the movie promises to be a mix of action and Indian mythological. As the film's shoot began, the makers also revealed Naga Chaitanya's first look from the mythological thriller.

Naga Chaitanya will be treating his fans to NC 24 soon, which is expected to be a pan India release. Buzz is that the film will be a rich fantasy epic with breathtaking action and stunning visual effects, News18 reported. The publication further suggests that the film follows the story of a treasure hunter and history student who confront forces of destiny and evil.
Expressing excitement about his upcoming film, the actor said, "I believe NC 24 has the potential to connect with a very wide audience. The story is universal in its themes of good versus evil and the fight against destiny, and the visual scale of the film is something I’m incredibly excited for audiences to experience."
It is also reported that Chay's upcoming movie will draw inspiration from different historical and mythological contexts. The makers are apparently confident that the film will be a perfect blend of fantasy, action and mythology.
Naga Chaitanya's work front
Meanwhile, Chay was recently seen in filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti's romantic action thriller, Thandel. Co-starring Sai Pallavi, it emerged as the fourth highest grossing Telugu film of 2025. The actor played the character of Thandel whereas Sai was seen as Bujji Thalli.
Produced by Geetha Arts, it arrived in cinemas on February 7 this year. After its theatrical run, the Chandoo Mondeti-directorial had OTT premiere on Netflix. It was out on March 7, a month after theatrical release.
