'Let's Do Our Part': Neeraj Chopra Sends A Powerful Message To Nation Amid India-Pakistan Tensions
Neeraj Chopra, a Subedar in the Indian Army, took to X to express his solidarity with the Armed Forces and urged the nation to follow the safety guidelines. Neeraj Chopra is currently preparing for the Doha Diamond League, scheduled for May 16. He will then compete at the NC Classic in Bengaluru, scheduled for May 24.

India's javelin throw star Neeraj Chopra extended his support to the Indian Armed Forces as they fight against unprovoked attacks by Pakistan in the border areas of the country.
The Olympic gold and silver medal-winning athlete took to X to express his solidarity with the Armed Forces and urged the nation to follow the safety guidelines.
"We are proud of our Brave Indian Armed Forces who are fighting for our nation against Terrorism," wrote Neeraj, a Subedar in 4 Rajputana Rifles of the Indian Army.
"Let's do our part and make sure to follow guidelines to ensure everyone's safety during this time. Jay Hind Jay Bharat. Jay Hind Ki Sena," he added.
Neeraj Chopra is currently preparing for the Doha Diamond League, scheduled for May 16. He will then compete at the NC Classic in Bengaluru, scheduled for May 24.
Neeraj also confirmed his participation in the Ostrava Golden Spike 2025, to be held on June 2 in the Czech Republic. After missing the last two editions due to injuries, Neeraj said that he would compete at the event this time around.
"I am excited to announce that I will take part in the Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava this year. It's a legendary race and this year will be exceptional. My coach Jan Železný has not only won there many times, but also acts as the director of the whole event. I feel great and I hope you will see really nice and far-reaching feasts. I look forward to meeting you all," Chopra said in a press release issued by the tournament organisers.
Neeraj, however, withdrew from the Asian Athletics Championships, scheduled from May 27 to 31 in Gumi, South Korea.
