NEETU KAPOOR

Neetu Kapoor is an Indian actress, who is the wife of the late Rishi Kapoor. Her son, Ranbir Kapoor, is also a famous Bollywood star. Neetu started her acting career as a child artiste shortly after her father's death. As a child star, she worked in films like Suraj (1966), Dus Lakh (1966), Do Kaliyaan (1968), and Waris (1969), among others. Her first role as a heroine came with 1973's Rickshawala opposite Randhir Kapoor. However, Neetu's real stardom came with the films she did with Rishi Kapoor. Movies like Rafoo Chakkar (1975) and Khel Khel Mein (1975), among others, established her as a top actress in Bollywood. But, she decided to quit films at the peak of her career after she got married to Rishi Kapoor in 1980. Her last film to be released was Ganga Meri Maa (1983). After over 25 years, Neetu did a cameo appearance in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal (2009) and returned to films full-fledged after her husband's death in 2020.
