OnePlus 13s vs Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Launch Date, Price In India, Key Features And Specifications, All You Need To Know

The smartphone season is warming up once more this May with the release of two most awaited flagships – the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the OnePlus 13s. Samsung is set to offer its thinnest-ever premium phone, while OnePlus is preparing its most compact flagship ever. Both handsets feature premium specs, latest chipsets, and incredible camera systems. Here’s a complete comparison of their launch schedule, prices, and specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is set to release globally, including India, on May 13. While Samsung has not officially announced the price, leaks suggest a US price of $1,099 to $1,199, which is approximately Rs 94,000 to Rs 1,02,600 in India.

On the specifications front, Galaxy S25 Edge will pack a 6.7-inch full HD+ sAMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Inside the phone will reside the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, complemented by 12GB of RAM and 512GB maximum storage.

Camera enthusiasts will probably receive the 200MP primary sensor, supported by 12MP/50MP ultra-wide lenses, whereas selfies will be taken care of by a 12MP front camera. The phone is also expected to feature a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging. On the software front, it will come with One UI 7 based on Android 15.

The OnePlus 13s, which is probably a rebranded variant of the recently released OnePlus 13T in China, has been teased in India but does not have a release date yet. It is expected to be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000.

It will have a 6.32-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen, providing 8T LTPO technology for enhanced power efficiency. Similar to its Samsung counterpart, it will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip but with a bigger 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Camera setup features a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto camera, coupled with a 16MP front-facing camera. The OnePlus 13s should come equipped with a significantly larger 6,260mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It will come with Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 out of the box.
