Mumbai: The Mumbai International Airport on Friday issued a passenger advisory amid ongoing India-Pakistan tensions. According to the advisory, passengers may experience longer wait times at the airport due to enhanced security protocols.

The advisory stated:
    The airport is operational.
  • Due to heightened security measures, passengers may face longer wait times.
  • Travellers are advised to plan their journey to the airport in advance and arrive early.
  • Arrive well in time for your flight and allow sufficient time for security checks.
  • Please cooperate with security and airport personnel.
  • Follow Mumbai Airport’s official social media channels for accurate and timely updates.
  • Contact your airline for the latest flight information.
  • Avoid sharing unverified or misleading information.

    • Delhi Airport

    The Delhi airport on Friday confirmed that operations are normal and some flights have been impacted due to changing airspace conditions and heightened security. In the wake of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has put in place enhanced security arrangements.
    In a post on X, DIAL said operations remain normal at the airport while some flights are impacted due to changing airspace conditions and heightened security.
    "Please check with your airline for the latest updates. We urge everyone to rely only on official sources and avoid sharing unverified information. We're working closely with all stakeholders to minimise any inconvenience," DIAL said.
    On Thursday, at least 90 flights to and from the Delhi airport were cancelled.
