SAMANTHA RUTH PRABHU

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a Telugu actress, who also works in Tamil cinema. She made her acting debut with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), and received instant acclaim. She was appreciated for her acting prowess by both critics and audiences and also bagged awards. She then went on to do more successful films like Neethaane En Ponvasantham (2012) and Eega (2012). In the past few years, Samantha has worked in several commercial hits, including Theri (2016), 24 (2016), Mersal (2017), Rangasthalam (2018), and Mahanati (2018), Super Deluxe (2019), Jaanu (2020), and more. She also made a mark in the OTT space, by playing a significant role in the Hindi show The Family Man (season 2).

On the personal front, Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya, but the couple announced their separation after four years of married in 2021. The actress is also a dog lover and has three pets - Hash, Drogo and Saasha.
