SHAH RUKH KHAN

Shah Rukh Khan is an Indian actor and producer, who has been one of the people instrumental in putting Bollywood on the global map. Shah Rukh, who started his acting journey in 1988, has fans all over the world, who love to call him the 'King of Romance'. After doing TV for a while, Shah Rukh made his film debut with 1992's Deewana and soon became a household name. But it was 1995's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge opposite Kajol that catapulted him to success that some can only dream of.

So far, Shah Rukh has been part of several films, in which he has given memorable performances. Some of these include Darr (1993), Pardes (1997), Dil Se.. (1998), Devdas (2002), Swades (2004), Chak De!India (2007), My Name Is Khan (2010), and more. Shah Rukh has received several awards for his contribution to cinema and was also felicitated with a Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2005. Shah Rukh also owns a production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, with his wife Gauri Khan. He has produced several films under his own banner.

On the personal front, Shah Rukh has three children with his wife Gauri. Their oldest child is Aaryan Khan. Suhana Khan, their daughter is the second in line and the youngest is AbRam Khan.
