Tamil Nadu Shocker: Woman Dies During Sex, Husband Claims BDSM Accident (canva)
Crime News: A 34-year-old gym trainer in Tamil Nadu’s Hosur has been arrested following the suspicious death of his wife during what he claims was consensual bondage intercourse, according to India Today report.
The accused, Bhaskar, who runs four gyms in the area, was taken into custody after his wife, Sasikala, was declared dead at a hospital on April 30. Bhaskar told police that the couple, who married in 2018 after falling in love, had consumed alcohol before engaging in bondage sexual intercourse that led to the tragedy.
According to Bhaskar’s statement, Sasikala began bleeding from her nose during the act. He claimed that he had tied her hands and legs and wrapped a cloth around her neck, after which he noticed the bleeding and rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
‘He gagged her, tied her hands and legs, killed her’
However, Sasikala’s family has flatly rejected Bhaskar’s version of events. Her father, Arul, accused Bhaskar of repeated domestic abuse and said that Sasikala had been admitted to the hospital on previous occasions due to beatings.“He used to beat her, and we admitted her to the hospital twice before and filed a complaint with the police. This time, I thought he was joking,” Arul said. “He gagged her, tied her hands and legs, killed her and called me from the hospital saying that my daughter had died,” he added.
As mentioned in the report, the family also alleged that Bhaskar had taken a dowry of Rs 14 lakh and that the couple often fought, especially as Sasikala suspected him of having an extra-marital affair.
Sasikala, who previously ran a play school in Bengaluru, had been operating a women-only gym in Hosur. The couple had two young children, aged two and four, who are now left without their mother.
Further forensic analysis and medical examination reports are awaited to determine whether the death was accidental or a case of premeditated murder.
