UGC NET June 2025 Registration Deadline Extended to May 12

The NTA has extended the UGC NET June 2025 application deadline to May 12. It has also announced revised dates for fee payment, correction window, and exam schedule. The CBT exam will be held from June 21 to June 30.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to apply for University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 session.. The online application deadline has been extended till May 12 (11:59 PM).
Following multiple requests from candidates who required additional time to complete registration, this extension was approved. The revised timetable is expected to help candidates who want to pursue doctorate research in Indian universities and institutions, become eligible for assistant positions as professors, or qualify for Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs).
The exam is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) format and is conducted twice a year.

Revised Schedule for UGC NET June 2025

  • Last Date for Online Application Submission: May 12, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
  • Last Date for Fee Payment: May 13, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
  • Application Correction Window: May 14 to May 15, 2025
  • Dates of Examination: June 21 to June 30, 2025
  • Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Candidates may take the UGC NET June 2025 test in any subject that is relevant to them. The exam will cover 85 courses. The complete subject-specific exam schedule and exam city notification slip will be made available on the NTA website when the time for exams comes.

  3. Complete NTA UGC NET registration process
  4. Log in with application number and date of birth
  5. Fill out the UGC NET application form, upload the required documents, and pay the registration fee
  6. Submit the form and take its printout for future references
It is recommended that candidates carefully examine all eligibility requirements before applying. They have to provide clear scanned copies of their signatures, photos, and other necessary paperwork. Candidates must check all entries before submitting them in their final form because only specific adjustments will be permitted during the correction session from May 14 to May 15.
