Kohli, Bumrah's First Reaction To Indian Army's Befitting Response To Pakistan Amidst Border Tensions OUT

India stalwart Virat Kohli reacted to the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan and lauded the Indian Army for protecting the country in difficult times. Kohli's reaction came after the Indian Army nullified a cowardly attack by Pakistan on Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab on May 8.

Rattled and defeated, Pakistan attacked India on May 7 after India's Operation Sindoor destroyed terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. India had warned Pakistan of serious consequences if they retaliated, claiming that it didn't intend to target civilians or military establishments in Pakistan, but terrorists. The Pakistan government didn't learn from the mistake and made multiple attacks on the Indian forces, but got a decisive response to this unprovoked escalation.

"We stand in solidarity with and salute our armed forces for fiercely protecting our country in these difficult times. We are forever indebted to our heroes for their unwavering bravery and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifices they and their families make for our great nation," wrote Kohli.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah also lauded the Indian defence forces for their courage and bravery.

"Grateful to our armed forces for their courage and bravery. We salute them and remain forever in their debt for everything that they do to keep us safe," wrote Bumrah.

IPL 2025 Suspended: Reports

Meanwhile, amidst the growing tensions, the BCCI suspended the IPL 2025 with immediate effect, according to reports. It is understood that BCCI considered all options, including the change in venues, before taking the call. The development came after the Punjab Kings match against Delhi Capitals was abandoned in Dharamsala. Latest reports suggest that the remainder of the IPL 2025 could be played after the India vs England Test series.
