Amul’s Doodle on India’s counter-attack goes viral.
Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh- the two women officers who took the spotlight after Operation Sindoor’s briefing- have turned into an inspiration for most Indians. Netizens are leaving no opportunity ‘UN-taken’ in praising their contribution in India’s counter-attack against Pakistan. Adding yet another tribute to the officers, Amul recently ‘entered the picture’ with its ‘Proudly Indian’ doodle, which went viral. The doodle featured Col Qureshi and Wing Commander Singh, along with the words ‘Send Them Pakking!’ and ‘Amul Proudly Indian’- which won over many.
For context, the first addressing of Operation Sindoor had Col Qureshi and Wing Commander Singh in the panel, which painted a strong picture for India’s representation. For those not aware, May 07’s Operation Sindoor was a response to Pakistan’s Pahalgam attack. The attack killed 26 innocent people in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.
In response to Operation Sindoor, Pakistan reportedly attacked 15 cities, including Jammu, Jaisalmer, Pathankot and more. However, Pakistan’s May 08 and 09 attack failed after India shot down their drones and missiles that were targeting civilian areas and military sites, as per reports. Indian Armed Forces further counter-attacked Pakistan’s Lahore, Islamabad and Sialkot, and reportedly took down the neighbouring country’s Air Defence System. Pakistan also lost one of its F-16 fighter jets during the counter-attack by India.
Coming back to Col Qureshi and Wing Commander Singh, the two addressed yet another press conference, where they reportedly briefed on Operation Sindoor’s ‘continuation’.
Amul’s post, on the other hand, read, “#Amul Topical: The India-Pakistan conflict.”
