Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 Teaser Pulled Down From YouTube? Here's What We Know

The teaser of Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming comedy, Housefull 5, was launched on April 30, and Akshay Kumar fans were thrilled to see him back in the genre that is synonymous with the actor and his superstardom. Helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is scheduled to release on June 20. However, netizens noticed that the teaser was unavailable on YouTube this morning.

When Zoom verified the authenticity of netizens’ claims, a message appeared on YouTube that read, “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Mofusion Studios.” We reached out to the concerned authorities, who denied copyright infringement allegations. The technical glitch, as claimed by official sources, is expected to be resolved soon. A statement from Mofusion is awaited.

Housefull 5 features Bollywood’s biggest names, including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

In an exclusive interview with Zoom, director Tarun spoke about working with an ensemble cast. He said, “Tarun Mansukhani said, "I had a great time, and I don't think at any point in time I felt I was working with people that I had never worked with before. It was overall just a party, and we had a great time. We finished the film in almost a record time, I think, and that wouldn't have been possible without all their support. So I don't think I ever faced a situation where the water was over my head, and I think my producer realised that before when he signed me on for this film, that I would be able to handle it. I had his support, and that was there at the back of my head.”

Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
