Pawandeep Rajan Health Update: Singer's Team Says He Has 'Undergone Three More Surgeries, Is Still In ICU'

On May 9, singer Pawandeep Rajan's team shared a fresh statement regarding his health condition following the tragic accident on May 5. The team revealed that the Indian Idol 12 winner underwent three more surgeries on Wednesday and remains in the ICU. Read the full details below:

Pawandeep Rajan's health update

The statement began, "Hi Everyone, Pawan underwent three more surgeries yesterday. Early in the morning, he was taken into the OT, and after eight long hours, all his remaining fractures were successfully operated on. Though he is still in the ICU under observation, he will remain there for a few more days."

It further added, "As the doctor rightly said, now the healing and recovery process has started. Let's just pray for his speedy recovery. Once again, thank you everyone for all the blessings and prayers." Take a look at the post here:

Recently, a close friend of the singer shared a photo of the singer from the hospital. Govind Digari's post read, “Aap sabhi ke aashirwad se Pawan ab kaafi theek hai” (With all your blessings, Pawan is now doing much better)." Take a look:

Talking about the accident, as his team described earlier, "Pawandeep Rajan met with a tragic road accident on 5th May early morning near Moradabad, UP, while he was on his way to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event. Initially, he was operated at a near by available facility but later he was shifted to a better hospital in Delhi NCR."

At the time, his team provided an update on his condition, stating that Pawandeep had sustained several major fractures along with a few minor injuries and following a series of medical tests, he was taken into surgery. After a six-hour operation, doctors were able to treat some of the major fractures.
