Rohit Sharma lauded the Indian Army's resilience as they successfully nullified Pakistan's cowardly attack on India. Rohit said he feels proud of the Indian Army, Airforce and Navy for standing tall for the nation during the time of crisis. He also urged the Indians to refrain from spreading and believing fake news.
Notably, Pakistan launched a drone and missile attack in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, however, it was well tackled by the Indian defence system. Pakistan's attempt to target India on May 8 was their second failed attempt. Pakistan, rattled by India's Operation Sindoor - a counter-terror strike done at terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir - made multiple attacks on the Indian forces and got a decisive response to this unprovoked escalation by Pakistan. The Indian government, however, maintained that their intention was not to target civilians or military establishments in Pakistan but terrorists; however, a fitting response will be given to any aggression by Pakistan. And India did that.
"With every passing moment, with every decision taken, I feel extremely proud of our Indian Army, Indian Air Force & Indian Navy. Our warriors are standing tall for our nation’s pride. It’s important for every Indian to be responsible and refrain from spreading or believing any fake news. Stay safe, everyone," rote Rohit Sharma.
